Complying with all the established and necessary measures, the team received fans in its match against Aguacateros.
With all the health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19, Inter Playa del Carmen became the first Quintana Roo club to allow access to its fans, in the 4-1 win over Aguacateros de Uruapan, on the day 23 of the Premier League.
With prior authorization from the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS), state and municipal authorities, as well as the Premier League, the "Mario Villanueva Madrid" stadium reopened under the "new normality".
The access of the fans was in an orderly manner and with the protocols established by the health authorities and the Premier League, such as taking the temperature when entering the property, use of face masks, the healthy distance in the stands, among others.
The French Amaury Schmidt was the first fan of those who entered the stadium to encourage Inter Playa del Carmen, being received by the general director of the club, César Díaz Aguilar, who gave him the green shirt that the team wears in their home games.
"We are grateful to Cofepris and to the state and municipal authorities, as well as to the Premier League for allowing us to have people in our stadium, of course, with all the protocols that Covid-19 entails," said Díaz Aguilar.
"We were allowed access to three hundred fans, unfortunately it rained and the capacity was lower, but we were happy to have our supporters in the stands, without lowering our guard against Covid-19," said the manager.
The last game that Inter Playa del Carmen had the support of its fans from the stands was on March 7, 2020 when it drew 2-2 against Pioneros de Cancún, in the Quintana Roo classic, corresponding to the 21st date of the Season 2019-2020.
Inter Playa del Carmen adds 15 games without losing, of which 13 are victories to continue hunting the record of 17 duels without knowing the defeat of Club Deportivo Tepatitlán de Morelos and is the sub-leader of Group 2 and the Premier League with 54 points .
On matchday 24, Carlos Bracamontes Zenizo's pupils will visit the Irapuato Club, next Friday at 4:00 p.m. in Quintana Roo, at the “Sergio León Chávez” stadium, in a duel with a Liguilla flavor.
